Woven Labels

Similar to printed labels, there are also different qualities of woven labels, which do not differ in terms of the base material, but rather in terms of the type of weave and weft density.

Woven labels are woven as standard from highly developed polyester yarns which, thanks to their small diameter and high tensile strength, enable the precise implementation of the smallest details.

On request, we are also happy to weave with traditional cotton yarns, which are more suitable for simple motifs due to the higher yarn count.

Taffeta (or taffet) labels are inexpensive standard labels for colorful designs (with up to 12 colors) and short runs. They are woven with approx. 30 wefts per cm and are easily recognizable by the running threads on the reverse side. Dark motif colors can show through slightly, especially on light backgrounds (background).

A special type of panel label is achieved by overweaving (also known as taffeta with a woven background): interesting and attractive labels are achieved by using sophisticated backgrounds (e.g. herringbone, panama) and color designs.

Satin labels (warp satin) are labels made of fine satin. Thanks to a very high warp density and special warp material (white glossy or matt), we obtain the typical closed satin surface. The binding points known from the panel labels are avoided by using a monofilament binding chain. For small print runs, we offer this quality exclusively with a white, glossy background.

Weft satin labels (Colorsatin) are labels of the highest quality. The high fabric density with a weft density of 52 to 56 wefts allows even the smallest details to be reproduced. Any basic colors can be realized, the colors are particularly colorfast.
