Why is it important that the fabric labels are certified to the Oeko-Tex® 100 standard?
The Oeko-Tex® 100 standard is a globally recognized system for testing and certifying raw materials, intermediate products and finished textile products at various stages of production. It strictly prohibits and regulates harmful substances, including hazardous chemicals and substances that pose a risk to human health.
The standard includes parameters related to safety measures. If a product comes into frequent contact with the skin, it becomes more difficult to meet the human ecology criteria.
