Festival wristbands with RFID chips
Whether large or small, more and more European events are switching to cashless payment processing.
As a quality leader and innovation pioneer, Heliotextil was the first supplier in Europe to combine two product worlds on the event market: the application of special RFID tags on high-quality fabric control wristbands (woven festival wristbands).
An RFID system consists of a transponder (individually printed RFID chip plate), which is pre-applied to the control wristband and contains an identifying code, and a reader to read this identifier
The woven control wristbands are supplied ready with an applied RFID chip/platelet and closure from Heliotextil.

If you already have a (regional) RFID partner, we can supply you with RFID wristbands and/or RFID cards of all common chip types, depending on your requirements. Heliotextil only uses high-quality NFC chips. The chips guarantee the highest security standard even with high usage, as well as guaranteed readability and rewritability after the 1000th transaction!
The contactless and cashless payment system increases security, saves time, is easy to use and reduces waiting times.
For event guests, a regular payment process with cash takes more and more time, e.g. due to giving change. Cashless payment reduces this time to a minimum. There is no need to carry cash with you at all times – the system increases security, peace of mind and transparency for visitors during payment transactions.
There is no “receipt pollution” in the first place, as all consumption receipts are transferred transparently online.
For the organizer, the use of this technology has the advantage that the caterer no longer has to handle cash, which should not be neglected for security reasons alone. Before the use of cashless payment, a lot of cash had to be moved from different places at the event, which meant that you had to have safe deposit boxes on site, secure transportation and ultimately transportation to the bank. This often means that you have to wait until the next working day to hand in your money safely.

In addition to the RFID tags for the festival wristbands, we also supply all types of RFID cards (cashless cards) with all common chip types depending on your requirements. These are printed individually (4c direct printing). Many extras are possible, such as double-sided printing, perforation, coding, chip initialization, etc.
We can also equip our RFID cards with additional security features such as magnetic strips, signature fields, barcodes, QR codes, serial numbers, PINs, scratch-off fields, holograms and embossing.
Please note that unlike the RFID wristbands, the RFID cards are transferable.

How does it work?
The data carrier is topped up with money or loaded with an access authorization. Then simply hold the RFID chip up to the terminal for admission control or payment and the access authorization is granted or the money is debited.
All you need for the terminal is an NFC-enabled smartphone or tablet, which is programmed with the appropriate software by our partner.
