Festival wristband - woven control wristband
The festival ribbons are supplied pre-threaded in the closure.

There are several closure options to choose from
The distinguishing features can be described using the following criteria and requirements:
- Should the festival wristbands be transferable or non-transferable?
- Should the festival ribbon fasteners be able to be closed with or without closing pliers?
- Are the fasteners suitable for all types of fabric entry bands (woven or printed) or only for woven festival bands?
- Should the locks offer a high level of protection against tampering or is security less important?
SmartLock closure
Highest level of security thanks to internal locking mechanism made of high-quality steel.
- Patented closure
- Festival wristbands with a flat SmartLock fastener are not transferable.
- The SmartLock fastener is self-closing (i.e. no locking pliers are required).
- The SmartLock fastener is suitable for woven festival ribbons (15 mm and 20 mm width).
Slide Lock closure
Highest level of security thanks to internal locking mechanism made of high-quality steel.
- Patented closure
- Festival wristbands with a cylindrical slide-lock fastener are not transferable.
- The Slide-Lock closure is self-closing (i.e. no locking pliers are required).
- The slide-lock fastener is suitable for woven festival ribbons (15 mm width).
Aluminum closure
Highest level of security: during use, the festival wristband is pulled over the wearer’s hand and locked tamper-proof by special locking devices, which can be rented from Heliotextil.
- Festival wristbands with an aluminum clasp closed by special closing pliers are not transferable.
- The aluminum closure is not self-closing (i.e. special closing pliers are required).
- The aluminum fastener is suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
Economy Lock
The Economy Lock closure is a pure plastic closure and therefore less expensive. This closure is suitable for events where security/risk of tampering is less important.
- Festival wristbands with a round economy lock fastener are not transferable.
- The Economy-Lock fastener is self-closing (i.e. no locking pliers are required).
- The economy lock fastener is suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
4-row G-Lock
High level of security thanks to improved locking mechanism compared to the Economy Lock fastener (double row of barbs with center bar)
- Patented closure
- Festival wristbands with a round 4-grow G-lock fastener are not transferable.
- The 4-row G-Lock fastener is self-closing (i.e. no locking pliers are required).
- The 4-row G-Lock fastener is suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
Wood closure
Two-part hybrid made of wood and plastic – plastic is reduced by 50%.
- This closure is suitable for events where security or the risk of tampering is less important.
- Festival wristbands with a wooden clasp are not transferable.
- The wooden closure is self-closing (i.e. no closing pliers are required).
- The wooden fastener is suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
Wooden eyelet / metal eyelet
For festival wristbands that should be transferable.
Wooden eyelets and metal eyelets are suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
SmartLock closure:
The flat SmartLock fasteners are self-closing, i.e. no locking pliers are required.
The SmartLock fasteners are patent-protected special designs with an internal locking mechanism made of high-quality, plastic-coated steel. Slide Lock closure:
The round Slide Lock fasteners are self-closing, i.e. no locking pliers are required.
The Slide Lock fasteners are patent-protected special designs with an internal locking mechanism made of high-quality, plastic-coated steel. This quick-release fastener was developed through years of field trials and customer involvement. Highest level of security: once the slide lock is closed or locked, it cannot be removed without cutting the festival strap or destroying the lock. The Slide Locks are quick and easy to use and offer maximum security.
Aluminum lock:
During use, the admission strap is pulled over the wearer’s hand and locked in a tamper-proof manner using special locking devices, which can be rented from Heliotexil.
The closures are custom-made from a special aluminum alloy, which are manufactured exclusively for us and are not available commercially or from other manufacturers. They are cast, milled and deburred in a complex production process using special casting molds.
The locking devices are special pliers that are not commercially available. More important than the pliers, however, are the inserts, which we have developed ourselves. Although the closures could also be closed in other ways, the characteristic pattern on the underside of the closures can only be imprinted with our inserts. This is also the reason why we do not sell the pliers, but only rent them out.
The clasps and pliers are therefore important components of our security concept. In combination with the woven festival wristbands, they ensure that our products are 100% counterfeit-proof.
In addition to safety, our main aim is of course easy and quick application on site. The control wristbands are very easy to put on and lock, the whole process only takes a few seconds. In addition, the rental rates for our locking devices are so low that you can equip all your entrances with them twice or three times over and thus effectively avoid congestion even at peak times.
